I don't remember a time when I wasn't drawing or creating something. My first artistic influence (which still holds today) was comic books. I love the simplistic style done in pen and marker. After taking several classes that focused on comic book art and creation, I gained a deeper appreciation towards this style of art due to how the artist has to decide how might be best to tell the story (not to mention working with a team).

Currently I am taking classes towards Interactive Graphic Design. I feel that interactive multimedia is going to play a deeper role in our entertainment culture. I also have a strange love for creating decorative forms that people can type their information in, print and send to the party that desires the information. Don't ask why, I just do. Maybe it makes the Capricorn in me happy.

During the Spring of 2008, I was honored to be hired as a Teacher's Aid for a class that taught Adobe Illustrator CS3, Corel Painter X and several other artistic software. It was a wonderful experience teaching students how to use these programs. I was even asked by the teacher to take over a portion of the class to teach the students how to use certain features in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe After Effects CS3. It was an experience that really helped me grow and gave me better confidence in my abilities and knowledge in most graphic design software.

I also attend the San Diego Comic Convention every year and have sold my artwork in their Art Auction for the last few years. One day I'll have a booth, but for now, the Art Auction is still a giant leap in my artistic career.
